A couple of weeks ago my MIS professor spoke candidly with us a few minutes after class started. She made an interesting statement that I took seriously that day. I'm paraphrasing most of it; she said "it doesn't make sense for students to skip class when they are the reason why the class is being taught." ..

..I felt bad for multiple reasons to which I'll get into a little later. For now, I decided to analyze if a student decides to skip, will it affect anyone else?

Oowashi Akatsuki

Lack of updates, I know. Unfortunately it's been quite busy on my end. I will update when it's closer to holidays. Sorry folks, you'll just have to wait until then.

No more waiting! It's time for another feature Gundam gallery! This one is different from other gundams because of it's gold-plated design. While I won't bore you with the whole history of Oowashi Akatsuki, it is one of my top favourites simply because of how amazing it looks. Enjoy!

A special treat! I have uploaded the photos from my recent trip to Toronto and photos of Strike Freedom, a gundam I built awhile ago but haven't got around to snapshotting it. The Toronto trip was only a little longer than a week, so there weren't too many pictures I thought to upload. Nonetheless, I think you will find some nice highlights and enjoy the scenery the most (at least I do).

Strike Freedom is a Gundam from the Japanese animation Gundam SEED Destiny. Most of you are probably thinking, "what the f#%k is that?" Simply put, it is an anime that consists of a bunch of robots.

Yokoshima (Redirects to has twenty-two different definitions for the noun, front. The fourteenth definition, "a person or thing that serves as a cover or disguise for some other activity, esp. one of a secret, disreputable, or illegal nature.." is the one that comes to mind whenever I think about certain people and sometimes even extended family members.

It's obvious that when people put up a front they are not comfortable being themselves around that particular person. I tried counting the number of times I've put up a front and apparently it's more than I thought. A lot more. When you think about it, acting a certain way different from yourself seems silly and often stupid in many cases. It's ironic...

Unfortunately I don't have a blog post today due to the amount of time I've spent studying and working on my new arrivals. By new arrivals I mean my recent order of Gundams has come in! I received them on Monday afternoon and started working on my first Gundam Monday evening. I took some pictures of the final product, enjoy.

It has been a while since the last update, largely due to the fact that I was in Toronto for almost two weeks. I believe I am still in the province of Ontario, flying the skies at 34,000 feet. I won't say I was overly busy while in Toronto, but there were lots of things to do with the family. I spend the little free time I had playing video games and watching anime with my relatives.

Surprisingly, travel was never something I was excited about. My parents are spending a lot of their holidays traveling around the globe because they finally have the time and luxury to do so. My brother and I are old enough to take care of ourselves and to watch over the house, so I'm glad my parents can enjoy themselves and to visit relatives overseas. As for me, I'm ...

So I'm actually writing this while flying to Toronto. It got me thinking about how technology sure has come a long way. Here I am typing on my laptop with the ability to connect to an AC adapter built into the seat in front of me. My dad is watching Iron Man 2 on a mini television touch screen built on the back of each seat, while my mom is listening to music on some radio station...

...Portable electronic devices pretty much all have the ability to connect to the wireless and/or surf the internet. The iPhone 4 introduced FaceTime and apparently the new iPod touch will also have it. For those that don't know what FaceTime is...

American popular culture has always been a mixed topic, especially amongst those born in Generation Y. The other day I was waiting for my turn at a local hair salon. I happened to overhear a dialog between a boy and his hair stylist. The boy looked at most fourteen years old but, judging by the way he answered the stylist's questions I wouldn't be surprised if he was younger by a couple of years. Apparently he and his family went to see the Black Eyed Peas who were in performing at the MTS Centre that week.

I have nothing against people who enjoy listening and being fans of the Black Eyed Peas. In fact, I'm listening to..
